I can make good PowerPoint because I have made a lot of them in this class. I like the topic of the world festivals. I enjoyed thinking about them and searching them. I used some impressive pictures in my PowerPoint because I used a lot of times on the Internet and found them. It was a good topic. I also think I could improve my skill of presentation. I was not goot at presentation at first but I can speak in front of a audience. I found I have to speak English more fluently and speedy through the presentation. I think this class was useful for me to improve my skills of making PowerPoint and doing presentation.

The Requirement of Studying Abroad

I will tell you about the requirement of studying abroad.

You have to be the second year student, when you go to abroad. You also have to have a clear purpose because if you do not have the purpose, you cannot have good results. This university wants to send a person who has a good personality and healthy and strong body enough to endure stresses in other countries. You will get a lot of stress when you are in different culture, so health is important there. You also have to have a good grade in this university. That means you tried to study hard in university so you are expected to study hard in other universities. You also need score of TOEFL. Almost all universities want student who has 500 to 550 score. Last, you have to talk with your guarantee and be allowed to go abroad. Then you can enjoy studying abroad.

Shelter from Typhoon

What do you do when typhoon comes? How do you spend times in your house? I will tell you the way you should do then.

First do not go out from your house. It is because winds are very strong and it blows heavy things like a tile or a plate. That is very dangerous for us.

Second listen to typhoon information and typhoon warning. If danger approaches and you have to take shelter, put out a fire and go to a shelter. When you go out, you should wear a hat or put on a helmet.

Now I will tell you other advice. You should pack minimum necessaries into rucksack to use your arms freely. During going to a shelter, do not walk near a river and manhole. Trouble with water happens there. In a shelter, you have to take advice from a leader of the shelter and keep rules.

Firework Battle

History of Firework Battle

I will tell you about history of Firework Battle in Greece. This day is Easter of the Greek Orthodox Church. It started in 1889, when Ottoman occupiers who ruled the island at that time stop habitants using cannons and the locals replied by launching home-made rockets. In past people tried to use cannons to ring the bell of church but it was too dangerous to do that, so now they use fireworks.

Since 1889, people celebrate Easter every year in unusual and dangerous way. Because it is dangerous, a small fire breaks out every year and some people are burned by fireworks.

However this festival has never been stopped. It is because people who live in there and visitors are looking forward the festival.

Lines and Geoglyphs of Nasca and Pamoas de Jumana

Lines and Geoglyphs of Nasca are pictures which are traced on the ground. They were painted in 2 B.C. to 6 B.C. There are a lot of pictures, for example. dog, monkey, hummingbird, plants and so on.

Those pictures are very big. Even small picture is 46 meters, so people have to ride helicopters to see the pictures. The biggest picture is 285 meters and it is a picture of bird.

Why were the pictures traced？ There are some suppositions but people do not know why it was made. It is mystery for modern people.

Joyful Water Park

Joyful Water Park is held in summer. In this summer, it has 82 days. It starts from on July 4th Saturday to September 23rd Wednesday this year. The business hours sometimes change. The shortest time is 9:30 to 16:30 and the longest time is 8:30 to 18:00.

There are many kinds of pool in the Water Park, for example, Running Water Pool, Surfing Pool and Waterfall Pool. The length of Running Pool is 300 meters. We can enjoy swimming with the flow. In Surfing pool, there are waves so we can enjoy swimming as if we are in the sea.

There are also many kinds of water slider, for example, Spiral Slider, Water Tube and Free Fall Slider. It has nine water sliders for teenagers and other sliders are for kids. In the nine water sliders, I think Free Fall Slider is the most exciting. It is because its height is 23 meter from the ground and its slope is 60 degrees. We can enjoy sliding the steep slope and feel excited.
